For those who use the River Darwen when studying rivers, we have added a set of shots of the river to the Blackburn with Darwen photographs (resources section of site). The intention is that we will eventually follow the river to its confluence with the Ribble.

If any BwD school would like to be involved with taking the photographs, or has any particular views that they would find useful, please email graham.dean@blackburn.gov.uk , or speak to your school’s Hands on Support Consultant. Thanks to St Barnabas’ CEP Darwen, for help with the first set of photographs.

Most of the photographs in the resources section of  the website can be provided to schools as higher quality images than are shown on the web pages – again, get in touch with a member of the E Learning Team for more information.
