No – we’re not 20 years behind! It is 20 years since the publication of the BBC project which involved 1000s of schoolchildren in a survey of Britain (as part of the 900th anniverary of the original Domesday Book). Of local interest there are plenty of pages of information about Blackburn with Darwen – some of you may remember being involved (either as teachers or pupils) – if my memory is accurate four Darwen schools were involved (St Barnabas, Holy Trinity, St Peter’s & St Paul’s, Hoddlesden).
