Friends of the Earth have designed a series of lesson plans, offering stimulating ideas for bringing major environmental issues to life within the classroom. With curriculum links into geography, citizenship, ICT and English these new resources are ideal to provide extra support for teachers.
They are designed for 6-10 yr olds, and are based around colourful posters providing useful information and suggestions on how to make a difference. They can be download ed from http://www.foe.co.uk/learning/educators/resource/index.html, along with other resources for teachers.
